Baby Blazzers is our Balance bike service recommended for ages 2-4 years old.
This is the perfect way to get your child rolling on to the path to riding a bike. The younger the child starts the better their overall ability will be for their age group. I.e. if your child starts at age 2 by time they’re 4 not only would they of passed the balance bike course but they would of passed the Junior Jumpers too and been riding a actual bike for a good while so they’ll have time served experience on a bike by time they’re 4. The younger the child the slower the initial progression will be because they haven’t been walking long but in no time at all they gain the strength and ability to ride the balance bike.
We introduce the children to the balance bikes and get them use to body position and movement. Once the child is use to the balance bike we then start to work on getting them really riding. On average it takes about 10-12 sessions to get the children ready to pass but for the younger ones most of the time it takes a bit longer. During the sessions we’ll teach them how to ride the balance bike properly including turning, lifting their feet up and other basic things like stopping. Finally once we’re happy with the child’s ability we’ll pass them and they’ll receive a certificate and trophy to show they’ve mastered the balance bike and are ready to learn how to ride a big bike (see Junior Jumpers for bike session details).
Our Baby Blazzers service is £4 for a 1 hour group session and £15 for a 1 hour 1-1 session. A helmet and balance bike can be provided if needed. Our sessions usually take place in and around Croxteth park.
